Open models strengthen the country that hosts them, so restricting their release weakens the very position it means to protect.
So this was the setup for the real question which is how does private public uh partnerships help you know with with innovation and help with American leadership? Um well I mean at the end of the day if you're going to train these models you need GPUs and uh and so that that partnership is getting us access to uh significantly more compute. U I'm really proud of what our team does. We we we do we build models that are competitive with uh the very best models in the world and we do it with an order of magnitude [clears throat] less people and probably two orders of magnitude less compute.

More more as as someone else said, more uh more organizations being involved, more people being involved means you get better ideas.
